How we're built

Why we're based in India — and what that actually means for you

This is the question we'd ask too, so here's a straight answer instead of a vague one.

If you're evaluating us against a US-based IT or cybersecurity firm, the price difference is going to be the first thing you notice. It's worth explaining why that gap exists, because "we're cheaper" on its own is a bad reason to hire anyone — the honest reason matters more.

The real reason: operating costs, not lower standards

A US-based firm with senior engineers on staff carries US salary levels, US office costs, and US overhead across the board. Those costs get built into every quote, regardless of how the work itself is done. We carry none of that. The engineers doing your work are the same level of experienced, working the same process, using the same tools — the cost structure underneath us is just different, and that difference passes straight to you.

Lower cost of delivery. Same engineers, same process, same standards.

What doesn't change

What you might assume changes
What actually stays the same
Quality of engineering
Same process, same review standards, same tooling
Who you talk to
Direct access to the engineers on your project — no relay, regardless of geography
Security practices
The same hardening pass on every build, described in our approach
Responsiveness
Overlapping working hours can be arranged for US and India-based teams

What genuinely is different

To be fair about the trade-offs, not just the upsides: we're a small team, not a firm with hundreds of staff and decades of enterprise certifications. If you need a vendor with a large bench, 24/7 follow-the-sun support across a dozen time zones, or a long list of vendor partnerships (Microsoft Gold Partner status and similar), a larger US or India-based enterprise provider may be a better fit than we are right now. What we offer instead is direct access to senior people and a lower cost structure — which is the right trade for a small or growing business, and the wrong one for a 2,000-person enterprise standardizing infrastructure across a dozen offices.

How to actually evaluate this, not just take our word for it

We'd rather earn the comparison than argue around it.
